“Entaxei” is a multilingual support tool for children and teenagers who speak Arabic or Farsi and have little or no familiarity with the Greek language. Its purpose is to help cover basic communication needs during the first period of their stay in Greece and their first steps in Greek school. It facilitates its users:
ENTAXEI – Multilingual Support Guide
- to understand simple expressions and directions, introduce themselves
- to understand basic vocabulary needed in school, express questions, problems and requests regarding issues related to education, accommodation, transport, nutrition and health
- to read and understand simple texts or fill out basic forms such as a declaration
It includes common, everyday phrases translated into Arabic and Farsi, an illustrated vocabulary, a brief grammar guide and simple exercises. It’s accompanied by audio files for language practice.

The translations of the texts were carried out by the Translators’ team of METAdrasi.
It was created in 2016 by METAdrasi within the framework of actions it develops to support the social and educational integration of migrants and refugees. It has been translated into your language by METAdrasi. The third reprint of the Multilingual Support Guide ENTAXEI, implemented by METAdrasi with the financial assistance of UNICEF, supports the education of 5,000 children and teenagers who have little or no familiarity with the Greek language.
