The students of METAdrasi’s non-formal Education Center in Chios participated in an activity with the aim of cleaning the space around VIAL camp.

The refugee children cooperated with each other, under the guidance and coordination of our educators, and took action!
Starting with collection of waste and proceeding with its separation according to material (paper, glass, aluminium, plastic), they learned about the importance of recycling and the responsibility we all have for the protection of the environment. Thus, they turned the space into a better one, for everyone.

In total, more than 450 children benefit, on a daily basis, from METAdrasi’s educational activities on Chios and Lesvos, which are implemented with the support of UNHCR.
