“I love my job and I have excellent relationships with all my colleagues. I would never have managed to find such a great job without the help of the people of METAdrasi. I thank them for their invaluable support and guidance.” This is the touching message that Farhad*, a recognized refugee from Iran, sent us.
Farhad arrived to Greece in 2017, during the so called “refugee crisis”. He lived in Athens, loved the city and the country, but desperately needed a job. In spite of his studies and many years of experience as a web developer in his homeland, it was very difficult to find a job here. So he addressed METAdrasi, within the framework of the Stepping Stone programme. With dedication and consistency he attended all the professional counseling sessions until he finally managed to enter the labor market; and in fact, in the field he wanted to and had previous work experience. Farhad now works full time as a web developer!
We wish him the best!
