Kyriakou Children’s Hospital, the European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management, Christos Stylianides had the opportunity to discuss with the Hospital’s Chief Executive Officer Emmanouil Papasavvas, the medical staff, as well as METAdrasi’s specially trained interpreters’ team.

As of March 2018, the activity “Provision of Interpretation to Healthcare Services” is being implemented with funding by the European Commission’s Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid Operations department (ECHO). For the first time, the permanent presence of an interpreters’ team was made feasible on a regular basis, in hospitals throughout Greece.
