An excursion filled with love, laughter and happiness

16.10.2020

Before it starts getting cold and the first rain starts falling, METAdrasi’s Transit Accommodation Facility in Samos decided to say goodbye to the summer with an excursion. The children filled their backpacks with bathing suits, towels, lunch and the trip begun.

First stop was the waterfalls, where the children admired the amazing landscape, climbed the trees, crossed the wooden bridges and played in the water.

Second stop was the forest, where they enjoyed the playground and had lunch. Non-stop laughter prevailed in the seesaw and the mill so it was not long before the adults of the group became children again.

Third stop was the beach for one last swim in the sea and a nice dessert on the pebbles.

The children returned home exhausted in the afternoon, but also filled with beautiful images and emotions. For most of them, this excursion was something unprecedented that was overflowing with love, laughter and happiness…
