Fire Safety Training in Chios

21.12.2022

The Fire Service of Chios welcomed the unaccompanied children of our Accommodation Facilitiy, who had the opportunity to learn about urban fires, as well as about firefighting techniques and safety methods.

What does a firefighter do? How do fires start and how do we put them out? What types of fire extinguishers are there and how do we use them right? Which are the most common causes of house fires and what prevention measures can we take? These, and many more issues were explained to our children by the firefighters, who willingly answered all their questions.

At the end of the presentation, our firefighters-to-be thanked the Fire Service of Chios, promising to put into practice everything they had learned.
