Mini Lexicon for Basic Communication in 6 languages

Mini Lexicon for Basic Communication in 6 languages ​​- Arabic, Farsi, Sorani, Kurmanji, Urdu and French: a valuable tool to facilitate day-to-day communication between refugees or migrants and Greek or English-speaking persons.

METAdrasi participated in the creation of this dictionary, which covers the basic vocabulary and useful phrases for information on matters relating to living conditions, health, protection etc. Special chapters for women and unaccompanied children are included.

15.000 pocket-size copies will be distributed for free to beneficiaries in refugee camps. Dictionaries with the reverse content will be made available to entities and persons providing services to refugees and migrants.

The mini lexicon was produced by the Embassy of Switzerland in Greece, in collaboration with UNHCR Greece, EADAP and METAdrasi.
