The Scholarship project

The Scholarship project was initiated in April 2021 in order to bridge the gap between refugees and tertiary education. To date METAdrasi supports 23 scholars from amongst the suitably qualified refugee and asylum-seeker population for a degree of their choice at the University of the People an American-accredited online institution. Persisting on forging a path to inclusion, METAdrasi introduces the third cycle of scholarships for studies to the University of the People.
10 scholarships will be offered for various fields of studies.

The application process is underway, and the deadline is on the 13/3/2022.

The University of the People offers degrees in the following fields of studies: 
1. Business Administration (M.B.A., BA, AS) 
2. Health Care (BA, AS) 
3. Computer Science (BA, AS) 
4. Education (M.ED.) 

Eligibility Criteria 
– Very good level of English (or Arabic for those interested in the Business Administration degree) 
– High School/Bachelor degree completion
