ATHENS
Visiting the Olympic Museum
At the end of February, we made our regular visit to the Olympic Museum, with the participation of children hosted in Accommodation Facilities and apartments of Semi-Autonomous Living. The children showed great interest during the tour and were thrilled with all the various sections of the Museum. Now they can proudly claim to know the history of the Olympic Games very well!
Football for boys and girls!
We know that boys love playing football. But who said that girls cannot equally love the sport? Our young girls that play football have strengthened their sense of self-confidence and self-esteem, and at the same time they have learned to cooperate and coexist.
The Tae Kwon Do “champions”
The athletic development, and not only, of the children through training is amazing. Our young athletes, girls and boys from the temporary camp in Schisto, have gained an understanding of space and distance, through the practice of Tae Kwon Do. Also, they have built their confidence, their fighting spirit and their dynamism.
At the Panathenaic Stadium
The students of the 1st Experimental School of Athens visited the museum of the Panathenaic Stadium which left them thrilled. But what they liked even more, was when they participated in activities that took place outside the Stadium.
IOANNINA
Football and volleyball training
The cold will not stop us!
These months were quite difficult due to the extreme weather conditions, however the children that are hosted in accommodation facilities and the camp of the area, continued their systematically practices. After doing a very good warm-up, the children, boys and girls, do the exercises that their coaches give them. And their progress is amazing!
KAVALA
Swimming, track and field, football and a lot of fun!
Our little athletes, girls and boys, are excited with all the sports that take place in Kavala. Swimming, track and field and football have now discovered the most special athletes in the faces of the children of the local refugee camp, who are always looking forward to the next training session!
