

Beginning of regular football training sessions
Regular training sessions for one of the most popular sports worldwide started in January for children and youngsters, aged 7-21 years, at Colonos City FC facilities. Aspiring footballers are learning the secrets and techniques of the sport, which, according to FIFA, has more than 5 billion fans and 250 million players around the world!






Training at the Athens Olympic Stadium (OAKA)
Students from the 35th and 49th Primary Schools of Athens gathered at OAKA and enjoyed a day full of sports, such as running, beach volley, and gymnastics, combining the joy of participation with the enjoyment of the game. Along with the athletic activities, children learn about the values of fair play and cooperation through sports.






Activities at Tigers Academy
The students of the 89th Primary School of Athens were introduced to the principles of Judo and the joy of Acrobatics at Tigers Academy Athens Club, with the participation of the Olympic champion judoka, Maria Karagiannopoulou and her colleagues. The program included an acrobatics presentation that made the children’s experience even more enjoyable.




At OAKA with the Olympic Sports Club “O Protathlitis”
A day full of action and entertainment, with more than 10 sports and other athletic activities enjoyed the children that visited OAKA, accompanied by Together in Sport-Phase II, in cooperation with the Olympic Sports Club “O Protathlitis.” Badminton, boxing, dancing, field hockey, football, laser run, shooting, shooting, table football, table volleyball, running, weightlifting were among the sports and activities offered to the students, who enjoyed a beautiful day, challenging their abilities, while having fun.

Beginning of regular archery training
Regular training sessions for aspiring archers aged 7 to 17 years are hosted at “Apostolos Nikolaidis” Stadium on Alexandra Avenue. The trainings started in February for young men and women who have… targets!

Violin lessons for young musicians
With an emphasis on cultural activities, Together in Sport-Phase II is expanding its portfolio to include music, painting and dance classes. Music is a universal language and a powerful tool for social inclusion, and in collaboration with the El Sistema educational programme, Together in Sport – Phase II provides violin lessons for children aged 10-17 years, who wish to experience the world of music.
“Together in Sport-Phase II” is implemented by METAdrasi (project coordinator), the Hellenic Olympic Committee and the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB), co-funded by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees of Germany (BAMF) and the European Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (TAME – AMIF). The activity is carried out in cooperation with municipalities in different regions of Greece.
