Unaccompanied children living in Kos Reception and Identification Center (RIC) do creative activities in the specially designed and guarded Safe Area run by METAdrasi and the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), since December 2019.

To date, 195 unaccompanied children in Samos RIC and 116 children in Kos RIC have already received legal and psychosocial support and have benefited from non-formal education activities offered by METAdrasi through MERIMNA project of the IOM, funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund of the European Union (DG Home).
