Metadrasi - METAdrasi Samos beach 2

Early Sunday morning, the alarm clocks started ringing at METAdrasi’s Transit Accommodation Facility for Unaccompanied Minors in Samos. The children filled their backpacks with water and food, put on their sports shoes and filled with the spirit of exploration, set off to visit for the first time a part of the island that had been unknown to them until then.

After a dreamy route among olive trees and overlooking the sea, our little hikers came across Mikro Seitani: a beautiful beach with crystal clear waters, which is considered one of the most beautiful in the Aegean and is part of the Natura 2000 protection network, since in this area we can find the Monachus Monachus seals.

With lots of playing in the clear blue waters, relaxation and carefreeness by the beautiful nature, the children enjoyed these unique moments generously given to them by this enchanting landscape, in the last days of summer weather. Only with the promise that we will visit Mikro Seitani again, they accepted to take the way back…
