{"id":26008361,"date":"2016-11-14T16:29:49","date_gmt":"2016-11-14T14:29:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/a-w%ce%bfrld-n%ce%bft-%ce%bfurs\/"},"modified":"2016-11-14T16:29:49","modified_gmt":"2016-11-14T14:29:49","slug":"a-w%ce%bfrld-n%ce%bft-%ce%bfurs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/en\/a-w%ce%bfrld-n%ce%bft-%ce%bfurs\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;A World Not Ours&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Angelina, Psychologist in METAdrasi\u2019s Accommodation Facility for unaccompanied children in Samos, recounts a special experience she shared\u00a0with the children:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Several days ago, we visited the Art Space Pythagorion\u2019s exhibition &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.schwarzfoundation.com\/en\/art-space-pythagorion\/2016\/2016.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">A World Not Ours<\/a>&#8220;, which had an in-depth approach to the refugee crisis. All os us, the children, the facility\u2019s staff and the interpreters were guided through the artworks by the Education Program Director.<\/p>\n<p>The children observed the exhibits with impressive dedication (it was the first time we saw them concentrated on something for so long!) and were stunned by the photos of Izmir, the lifejackets and the boat that crossed the Turkey-Greece borders.
