{"id":26018940,"date":"2018-01-16T10:52:43","date_gmt":"2018-01-16T08:52:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/supported-semi-independent-living\/"},"modified":"2025-01-08T14:04:15","modified_gmt":"2025-01-08T12:04:15","slug":"supported-semi-independent-living","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/en\/supported-semi-independent-living\/","title":{"rendered":"Supported Semi-Independent Living for unaccompanied minors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/metadrasi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/sil_athina9.84.gif\" alt=\"Metadrasi -\" title=\"Metadrasi -\">Another innovative initiative by METAdrasi: \u201cSupported Semi-Independent Living for unaccompanied minors\u201d aged 16-18.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to offering accommodation, this activity focuses on improving and empowering the skills developed by the unaccompanied minors and aims at enabling their smooth transition to adulthood and integration to Greek society.<\/p>\n<p>Sami* is the first child to benefit from the activity. He arrived in our country alone, about a year ago, seeking for shelter and safety, leaving behind conflicts, violence and the loss of people he loved. METAdrasi has been standing by Sami from the very beginning, through the Guardianship Network for Unaccompanied Minors and the Accommodation Facility in Chios.
