{"id":26021982,"date":"2018-05-10T13:29:16","date_gmt":"2018-05-10T10:29:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/kathimerinis-article-exhibition-chios\/"},"modified":"2025-01-13T23:15:51","modified_gmt":"2025-01-13T21:15:51","slug":"kathimerinis-article-exhibition-chios","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/en\/kathimerinis-article-exhibition-chios\/","title":{"rendered":"Kathimerini&#8217;s article for the exhibition in Chios"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/metadrasi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/chios_land_metadrasi_kathimerini.jpg\" alt=\"Metadrasi -\" title=\"Metadrasi -\">It was the eye contact with the sea which intrigued Mustafa to use his mobile phone in order to depict it &#8211; as it was, immense and unpredictable. \u201c<strong>Since then, I replaced my mobile phone with a camera that a friend in the shelter gave me, and the sea around Souda (Chios) with landscapes of the mainland<\/strong>\u201d, recounts to Ioanna Fotiadi of \u201cKathimerini\u201d newspaper, 17-year-old Mustafa Omar from Syria, whose photos compose the photography exhibition \u201cChios Land\u201d, that will be held by METAdrasi from 11 to 20 of May, at the Public Benefit Foundation \u201cMaria Tsakos\u201d in Chios.<\/p>\n<p>The opening of the exhibition is being prepared with great enthusiasm by the children and the staff of METAdrasi\u2019s facility, which is supported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.snf.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Stavros Niarchos Foundation<\/a>, and will take place on Friday May 11th, at 19:30.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition will be held with the contribution of Chios Public Prosecutor Spyridoula Stavrati, kindly hosted at <a href=\"http:\/\/mariatsakosfoundation.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">\u201cMaria Tsakos\u201d Public Benefit Foundation<\/a> and supported by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chiosphotoclub.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Chios Photography Club<\/a> and the Directorate of Secondary Education. The printing of the photos is offered by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.demertzis.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Demertzis Digital<\/a>.
