Present were their families, all the educators, members of METAdrasi\u2019s Guardianship Network for Unaccompanied Minors, interpreters, other members of our team and many more guests.<\/p>\n<p>During this joyful day, the children presented their artistic creations, danced syrtaki, sang Greek songs accompanied by tamboura, recited their own poems, spoke to the audience about their home countries.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the program included many activities and games for the children, face painting and treats, while the highlight of the day was the moment they were all awarded the certification of attendance. The children could not stop smiling proudly, while we were all applauding them for their efforts!<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, September 3, with the beginning of the new school year, we are starting remedial education in two schools in Athens, for children aged 6-17, emphasing language acquisition, mathematics and homework support (Monday-Friday, 16:00-19:00).
