{"id":26038410,"date":"2019-05-30T13:08:59","date_gmt":"2019-05-30T10:08:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/our-students-share-their-experiences\/"},"modified":"2025-01-08T01:37:03","modified_gmt":"2025-01-07T23:37:03","slug":"our-students-share-their-experiences","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/en\/our-students-share-their-experiences\/","title":{"rendered":"Our students share their experiences with students from other schools"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><div class=\"custom-slick-slider\"><div class=\"slider-item\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/metadrasi_education_lesvos_c-752x450.jpg\" alt=\"Metadrasi -\" title=\"Metadrasi -\"><\/div><div class=\"slider-item\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/metadrasi_education_lesvos_h-752x450.jpg\" alt=\"Metadrasi -\" title=\"Metadrasi -\"><\/div><div class=\"slider-item\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/metadrasi_education_lesvos_d-752x450.jpg\" alt=\"Metadrasi -\" title=\"Metadrasi -\"><\/div><div class=\"slider-item\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/metadrasi_education_lesvos_g-752x450.jpg\" alt=\"Metadrasi -\" title=\"Metadrasi -\"><\/div><div class=\"slider-item\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/metadrasi_education_lesvos_a-752x450.jpg\" alt=\"Metadrasi -\" title=\"Metadrasi -\"><\/div><div class=\"slider-item\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/metadrasi_education_lesvos_e-752x450.jpg\" alt=\"Metadrasi -\" title=\"Metadrasi -\"><\/div><\/div>Following an initiative by volunteers of <a href=\"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/en\/campaigns\/educational-activities\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">METAdrasi\u2019s Non-Formal Education Center in Mytilene<\/a>, our students had the opportunity to meet and share experiences with students from primary schools in Vrisa, Lesvos and the Canary Islands.<\/p>\n<p>Our students, who reside in Moria camp and are daily transported to METAdrasi\u2019s school in Mytilene, in order to attend Greek, mathematics and English lessons, had exchanged letters with the students from Vrisa, who, having seen their village destroyed by the devastating earthquake of 2017, had also experienced the feeling of losing their homes.<\/p>\n<p>All the children visited the <a href=\"http:\/\/museumteriade.gr\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Teriade Museum<\/a> and took part in activities that helped them familiarize with the exhibits and works of art.
