This year, due to the circumstances, the people of the School had the excellent idea to prepare a special radio show.

And of course, they didn’t forget to invite the unaccompanied children who stay in our accommodation facilities to send their wishes. The children, with great enthusiasm, accepted the invitation and recorded their messages.

The children from the Chios shelter gave their wishes in their mother tongues and it is very interesting to hear the words they chose. The children of the Samos shelter described how they used to spend the first day of the New Year in their country. While the children of the Athens accommodation facility tell us what they dream for Santa Claus to bring them. And what could the unaccompanied children ask for from Santa Claus?

Here are two of the most touching messages:
“I wish for all the children to stay with their parents!”
“Santa, I would like you to bring gifts to everyone and take the guns so there will never be war again!”

You may listen to the full show here: www.syllogosgoneonhill.gr/

We would like to thank the Hill School and the Parents Association for always being by our side and for the great joy they bring to the children hosted in our accommodation facilities.

METAdrasi’s Transit Accommodation Facilities in Chios and Samos are funded since June 2020 by EEA Grants in the framework of the Asylum and Migration programme.

Funded by EEA and Norway Grants
Fund operated by ΣΟΛ Crowe and HumanRights360

Since 1/1/2018 METAdrasi’s Transit Accommodation Facility in Athens is funded in the framework of the implementation of the action “Operation of Accommodation Structures for Unaccompanied Minors” by the National Program of Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund.

[124
["post-26067489","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-announcements
["GET
