Athens
<\/em><\/strong>Sport activities in the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 16\/12<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

A special event took place at the sports facilities of the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens, with the participation of 158 students from the 51st Primary School of Athens. The children, as classmates but also as athletes, took part in activities such as football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, etc., simulations of Olympic sports. At the end, medals and diplomas were awarded to all participants. The event was held in collaboration with METAdrasi, the Hellenic Olympic Committee and the Association \u201cProtathlitis\u201d.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n

Athens<\/em><\/strong>
<\/strong>Sport activities in the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 20\/12<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Another event took place at the sports facilities of the of the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens, this time with the participation of 100 children from the 2nd High School of Intercultural Education of Elliniko and the Intercultural High School of Athens. The children from both schools took part in various sports activities, in order to get in touch with the culture and values \u200b\u200bof sports and Olympism and to cultivate the spirit of noble rivalry. The event, which was held in collaboration with METAdrasi, the Hellenic Olympic Committee and the Association \u201cProtathlitis\u201d, concluded with the now established awarding of medals and diplomas to all participants.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n

Kavala<\/em><\/strong>
Football practice for the children\u00a0\u2013 11\/12<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Dribbles, passes, goals and many smiles were in abundance during the training that took place between refugee children and young athletes from the K14 team of the football club of AO Kavala.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

A total of 36 children participated in the joint training under the close guidance of the coaches who shared the secrets of football, but also under the watchful eye of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Sports of the city of Kavala, as well as the parents of the children who watched by the stands.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

At the end of the event, medals were awarded to all the children along with a commemorative diploma for their participation, while four lucky children, won a soccer ball after a draw.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u201cTogether in Sport\u201d, initiated and co-funded by the\u00a0German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees<\/a>, is implemented by METAdrasi in cooperation with the Hellenic Olympic Committee, the\u00a0German Olympic Sports Confederation<\/a>\u00a0and the participation of municipalities all over Greece. The project is co-funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
