{"id":26098255,"date":"2023-04-16T11:06:00","date_gmt":"2023-04-16T08:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/the-loveliest-meeting\/"},"modified":"2025-01-07T13:10:45","modified_gmt":"2025-01-07T11:10:45","slug":"the-loveliest-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/en\/the-loveliest-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"The loveliest meeting at our Educational Center in Athens"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The loveliest meeting took place yesterday outside our Homework and Creative Activities Center in Athens: the warm embrace of the social kitchen \u201cO Allos Anthropos\u201d (The Other Human) welcomed students of the 4th High School of Galatsi, unaccompanied children staying at METAdrasi\u2019s Supported Independent Living apartments, as well as students of our educational center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the children chopped the ingredients together, <a><\/a>poured the spices and stirred the ingredients using the \u201cpaddle of hope\u201d. While the sauce was being made, Konstantinos Polychronopoulos told the children the story behind the paddle, the famous \u201cpaddle of hope\u201d, which was gifted to him by rescued refugees in Lesvos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the end, after they had added the pasta, they all enjoyed their meal. Amidst chatter and laughter, the pot of \u201cO Allos Anthropos\u201d provided children with the chance to come together and in one big, lovely celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure Education\u201d, a UNICEF Greece initiative, co-funded by the European Union and implemented by a number of partners, including METAdrasi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery
