{"id":26098752,"date":"2023-12-04T14:15:37","date_gmt":"2023-12-04T12:15:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/together-in-sport-kicks-off-again\/"},"modified":"2025-01-07T14:49:21","modified_gmt":"2025-01-07T12:49:21","slug":"together-in-sport-kicks-off-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/en\/together-in-sport-kicks-off-again\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cTogether in Sport\u201d kicks off again!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/metadrasi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/METAdrasi_TiS_1-1.jpg\" alt=\"Metadrasi -\" class=\"wp-image-27193\" title=\"Metadrasi -\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTogether in Sport\u201d is a breakthrough project, about to take action once again, following its outstanding success in the period 2021-2022 that managed to bring together more than 9,000 refugee and local community children. \u201cTogether in Sport\u201d was co-funded by the European Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) and the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees. The kick-off event* of \u201cTogether in Sport &#8211; Phase II\u201d will take place on\u00a0<strong>Wednesday, December 6, 2023\u00a0at 12:00-14:00<\/strong> at the Amphitheatre of the Hellenic Olympic Committee (52 Dimitriou Vikela Ave., Chalandri), bringing together all the actors that contributed to the success of the project in the period 2021-2022 and providing an outline of \u201cTogether in Sport &#8211; Phase II\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new phase brings an array of fresh sport and recreational activities into the mix, uniting children with and without refugee background through the power of sports, overcoming cultural and language barriers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTogether in Sport-Phase II\u201d represents the next stage of the project. It is implemented by METAdrasi, the Hellenic Olympic Committee, and the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB). The German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) supports with coordination and co-funding.
