{"id":26099120,"date":"2024-04-19T13:17:51","date_gmt":"2024-04-19T10:17:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/a-day-at-the-museum\/"},"modified":"2025-07-31T14:34:44","modified_gmt":"2025-07-31T11:34:44","slug":"a-day-at-the-museum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/metadrasi.org\/en\/a-day-at-the-museum\/","title":{"rendered":"A day at the museum"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-28875\" src=\"http:\/\/metadrasi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/METAdrasi_Helios_Museum_Mar24_1.jpeg\" alt=\"Metadrasi -\" title=\"Metadrasi -\"><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Our students of the HELIOS project, together with other adult students of METAdrasi, enjoyed a \u201cjourney\u201d to the ancient Greek civilization, while visiting the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.namuseum.gr\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">National Archaeological Museum of Athens<\/a>.<br \/><br \/>The students were fascinated by the unique artifacts and significant exhibits showcasing the evolution of ancient Greek civilization from prehistory to late antiquity. They enthusiastically asked questions about the different techniques and styles used in each era, eager to learn more.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>New knowledge, experiences, and fond memories accompanied the young students, after leaving the museum. They took pictures to remember their visit and wholeheartedly enjoyed this interesting and constructive interaction with ancient Greek culture.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-cyan-bluish-gray-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-cyan-bluish-gray-background-color has-background\" \/>\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>METAdrasi is a key partner of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/greece.iom.int\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IOM Greece<\/a>\u00a0for the implementation of the HELIOS project in Athens. The HELIOS project aims to support beneficiaries of international protection to integrate into Greek society offering a variety of services promoting independent living including rental subsidies, integration courses and employability support.
