Under the guidance of the distinguished athletes, with masks and swords, the children discovered the \u201cmagic\u201d of this exciting sport.<\/p>\n<p>Once again, through sport, the children showed to everyone what \u201cacceptance\u201d and \u201cinclusion\u201d really mean.<\/p>\n<p>The event was honoured by the presence of the Mayor of Thessaloniki and Vice-President of the Hellenic Olympic Committee, Mr Stelios Angeloudis.<\/p>\n<p>We warmly thank Ms Antonia Psyrra and Ms Mary Panoussi from the European Commission for the invitation, and we promise to continue our cooperation through actions for the benefit of children and young people.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-2 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-39 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30376\" title=\"Metadrasi -\" src=\"http:\/\/metadrasi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/METAdrasi_TiS_TIF_5-1-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Metadrasi -\" data-id=\"30376\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30377\" title=\"Metadrasi -\" src=\"http:\/\/metadrasi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/METAdrasi_TiS_TIF_3-2-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Metadrasi -\" data-id=\"30377\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30375\" title=\"Metadrasi -\" src=\"http:\/\/metadrasi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/METAdrasi_TiS_TIF_4-2-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Metadrasi -\" data-id=\"30375\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n<p>\u201cTogether in Sport \u2013 Phase II\u201d is implemented by METAdrasi (project coordinator), the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoc.gr\/en\/hellenic-olympic-committee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u202fHellenic Olympic Committee<\/a>, and the\u202fGerman Olympic Sports Confederation\u202f(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dosb.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DOSB<\/a>). The\u202fGerman Federal Office for Migration and Refugees\u202f(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bamf.de\/EN\/Startseite\/startseite_node.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BAMF<\/a>) supports with coordination and co-funding. The project is also co-funded by the AMIF (2021-2027).
