On the occasion of the International Day of Intangible Cultural Heritage (October 17), participants in Greek language courses at the Kofinou Reception Centre took part in a beautiful creative activity dedicated to the traditions and customs of their countries.<\/p>\n

\u2728 Together, they designed a colourful poster showcasing elements of their cultural identity \u2014 traditional dances, celebrations, poems, and folk songs \u2014 and watched related videos that brought their heritage to life.<\/p>\n

Through this inspiring exchange, participants celebrated cultural diversity, shared experiences, and strengthened their Greek language skills through creativity and collaboration. \ud83c\udf0d\ud83d\udcac<\/p>\n

METAdrasi Cyprus began providing Greek language courses at the Kofinou and Pournara centers in February 2024. Since July 2025, educational activities for adults and children at the Pournara First Reception Center have been implemented in collaboration with the Asylum Service.<\/p>\n
