(min-width: 981px) and (max-width: 1280px) 1280px, 100vw\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This December, at the Ritsona Facility for Temporary Accommodation, we marked the \u201c16 Days of Activism\u201d against gender-based violence with a group that filled us with strength and optimism.<\/p>\n<p>Together with 10 women from Sudan living at the Facility, METAdrasi\u2019s job counselor created an empowerment and inclusion group: the women enrolled in the Organisation\u2019s Stepping Stone programme for employment counseling and connection to the labor market.<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 They attended a preparation seminar for entering the job market.<br \/>\n\u2705 They took part in an educational visit to the Papoutsanis factory, in the production department, for real-time experience in a workplace environment.<\/p>\n<p>And because empowerment also takes heart, not only knowledge\u2026 \ud83c\udfb6 we sang together an excerpt from the song \u201cAh Thalassa\u201d by Marina Satti in Greek \u2014 a small moment of connection, joy, and intercultural communication.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83c\udf81 We wrapped up with smiles and gifts for the women, with the kind support of the Germanos Group.<br \/>\n\ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffc Many thanks to everyone who participated in and supported the activities for the \u201c16 Days of Activism\u201d!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>METAdrasi\u2019s Stepping Stone
