Greek language courses for refugees and migrants: you are invited to register!

08.09.2017

With a view to combat the social exclusion of refugees and migrants and promote their smooth integration into Greek society, METAdrasi provides for free intense courses in Greek, adapted to the particular needs of the participants.

The classes are formed according to the pupils’ language level and skills, and take place morning, noon and afternoons, preparing them for the certification examinations of the Greek Language Centre.

The experienced teachers are specialised in teaching Greek as a second and foreign language.

The students receive free educational material (books, dictionaries, notes and exercises), while at the end of each course a certificate is provided.

To date, a total of 53 training courses have been completed, attended by over 2.000 students. The action is implemented with the valuable contribution of volunteer teachers and supporters from Greece and abroad, like the “Captain Vassilis and Carmen Konstantakopoulos” foundation and the swedish organization Vi Gör Vad Vi Kan.

Registrations and classes are carried out at METAdrasi’s offices in Tavros, 25 March 7, 1st floor (nearest station: “Kallithea”)
Monday to Friday, from 12.00 to 16.00
