We warmly thank the Ambassador of Austria in Athens, Ms. Hermine Poppeller, for her initiative to visit METAdrasi’s Dormitory for Homeless Children and her interest in this vulnerable group, but also in their challenging integration process in the Greek society.
The Ambassador together with Attaché, Mr. Richard Dullnigg, were given a tour of all the facilities of the Dormitory and expressed their interest in learning about its creation. METAdrasi’s team shared with them their experiences from all the hard work that was put into the creation and the operation of this innovative venture that filled a substantial and long-term need.
We thank the Ambassador for her kind words and for the courage she gave us to continue our work.
