3rd workshop by METAdrasi on “Provision of Interpretation Services to Asylum Procedures”

08.11.2016

On Saturday, November 5th, 60 of METAdrasi’s Interpreters and Coordinators had the opportunity to meet and discuss issues related to community interpretation, to study cases based on the particularities of their job and exchange views, while they tried to get in the shoes of the interpreters’ planning team, by preparing an interpretation plan simulating the actual conditions!

Among the presentations, the participants were informed of the progress of METAdrasi’s actions throughout Greece, while our guest Hetty Klinker from the Netherlands’ Department of Justice presented the Dutch system in provision of community interpretation and the challenges it is facing.

The workshop was funded by UNHCR GREECE
