In the context of the panel entitled “Interculturality and universality of human rights, democracy and the rule of Law”, METAdrasi’s president Lora Pappa pointed out that:
“The culture of humanism is universal and goes beyond any racial, ethnic or religious discrimination. Today’s global challenge is the substantial understanding of the position of the “Other”, of the different, and not a formal-compulsory “Tolerance”, on which fear and bigotry are built.”
