75 minors supported by METAdrasi’s activities got vaccinated thanks to the support of the Municipality of Athens

Seventy-five minors supported by METAdrasi’s activities – foster care, guardianship, Supported Independent Living and education – got vaccinated thanks to the valuable support of the Municipality of Athens.

Two vaccination sessions took place last week, in collaboration with the department of Preventive Medicine, Health Promotion and Public Health of the Municipality of Athens. The first session was for girls who got vaccinated against HPV, while the second session was for both boys and girls who got the necessary pediatric vaccines. It should be highlighted that this vaccination was given even to children who do not have a Temporary Insurance Number yet and, under different circumstances, they would not have access to this very important service provided. Of course, METAdrasi’s interpreters were there to contribute in this effort by facilitating the communication.

We warmly thank the Municipality of Athens for this important initiative and the excellent cooperation.
