Port of Samos, 2:30 a.m.: METAdrasi’s team collects the boxes filled with humanitarian aid items.
Once again, our team “rolled up their sleeves”: it all started in Athens, where with the valuable help of our supporters, we collected clothes, shoes and personal hygiene items for the refugees at the island of Samos. We transferred the boxes to the port of Piraeus and, from the other end, our local team collected them (at 2:30 a.m.!). Then, early in the morning, the items were delivered in order to be distributed to refugees and asylum seekers.
We warmly thank Attica Group who continue to support us with the free transfer of humanitarian material, all of you for your immediate response to our call and of course, our team in Samos!
