Excursion to the waterfalls for the unaccompnaied children of our Samos shelter

21.01.2025

The new year arrived with the resolution for “Regular Exercise – Better Nutrition – Achieving Goals” for the unaccompanied children living at METAdrasi’s Accommodation Centre in Samos.

And as the good weather was by their side, on Sunday they made their first excursion to the Waterfalls of Karlovassi. The children enjoyed nature, and hiked paths and rivers in a five-kilometer route, arriving to the destination, the famous natural waterfalls of Samos!

The day ended with a dessert in Karlovassi and the children filled with beautiful images from an unforgettable excursion.

Since August 2023, METAdrasi’s Accommodation Facility for Unaccompanied Minors in Samos operates with the support of the Migration and Home Affairs Funds (TAMEY), co-funded by the European Union.
