Exploring the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum

20.11.2025

Metadrasi - METAdrasi students 2

Two classes from METAdrasi’s Greek language programme for adult refugees, migrants, and asylum seekers explore the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum.

Before the visit, their teacher prepared a special lesson dedicated entirely to the Acropolis—its history, its significance to Greek culture, and its importance to world heritage. Seeing the students step onto the historic site, recognize the monuments from their lesson, and discuss what they had learned was truly unforgettable.

From classroom to real-life experience, this visit brought language, history, and culture together in the most meaningful way.
A huge bravo to our students for their enthusiasm and to their teacher for bringing Greek heritage to life!

METΑdrasi’s educational programme for adults is implemented with the support of the Captain Vassilis and Carmen Constantakopoulos Foundation.
