Metadrasi - METAdrasi Samos ceramics 1

Our recent visit to the pottery classes at Fay George Ceramics was an unforgettable experience for all the unaccompanied children at the METAdrasi Accommodation Center in Samos.

With clay in their hands and big smiles on their faces, the children expressed their imagination by molding and shaping unique little works of art.

A huge thank you to our wonderful teacher Fay, who guided everyone with so much patience and skill, introducing the basic techniques of pottery and encouraging each child along the way.

Even more special was seeing the children collaborate, share ideas, and support one another, strengthening teamwork and communication in the most natural way. Every moment was filled with laughter, excitement, and the pure joy of creating something from scratch.
Now we’re eagerly waiting to receive their creations — we can’t wait to see the final results!

Since August 2023, METAdrasi’s Accommodation Facility for Unaccompanied Minors in Samos, operates with the support of the Migration and Home Affairs Funds (TAMEY), co-funded by the European Union.
