On Christmas Eve, with the rain pouring down, a refugee of about 19 years old came to our offices for his scheduled appointment with our employment counselor.
He came in soaking wet. And we, as we always do when we see someone in need, were there—ready to offer clothes and food. So, as a member of our team was sorting through clothes we had received the previous day as a donation, without a second thought, she asked the young man if he needed anything.
His response was a smile from ear to ear.
He chose a jacket, a sweatshirt, and pants, and left with a bag full of food items. He was a truly happy man who couldn’t stop thanking us.
METAdrasi continues to distribute food, clothing, and personal hygiene items to people who are homeless or living in precarious conditions in Athens.

We warmly thank all METAdrasi supporters who contribute with donations of items, as well as the Food Bank for its significant support.
