The magic of sports that connects people in a unique way has been a great experience for 10 beneficiaries of METAdrasi’s Semi-Autonomous Living (SIL) and Stepping Stone programmes, aged 16 to 20 years.
A few days ago, at the Peace and Friendship Stadium NBA and Euroleague coaches and players from the Trenchwork Sports training academy for professional athletes and young prospects, welcomed our youngsters offering a unique show.
The children watched the players’ routine with great interest, became familiar with the world of basketball and the joy of sports in general, experiencing in practice what inclusion and fair play mean.
Children, players and coaches were all photographed together and promised to meet again on the court next year.
