“A work of art is, more than anything else, an adventure of the mind.”

Art, in all its forms, has the power to inspire, especially young people. The teenage students of METAdrasi’s Homework and Creative Activities Center in Athens visited three exhibitions at the National Museum of Contemporary Art (EMST).

While admiring the exhibits, they discussed the differences between contemporary and classical art, as well as their individual perceptions of the artworks.

Through this experience, they discovered that art can unite people of different backgrounds and beliefs.

As of September 2021, METAdrasi’s educational activities for minors are part of the programme “All Children in Education”, a UNICEF Greece initiative in collaboration with the Ministry of Migration and Asylum, co-funded by the European Union, and implemented in collaboration with a number of partners, including METAdrasi.
