Metadrasi -

A very proud 14-year-old boy from Syria, one of the unaccompanied children living at METAdrasi’s Accommodation Centre in Chios, participated together with his classmates in the parade for the national celebration of the 28th of October.

Our team filled with excitement and emotion, together with M.’s friends and the spectators, stood by his side to applaud him. And how much this applause made little M. feel that he belonged, that he was participating with the other children of the island!

METAdrasi’s Accommodation Facility for Unaccompanied Minors in Chios operates since August 2023 with the support of the Migration and Home Affairs Funds (TAMEY), co-funded by the European Union.
