Eleven unaccompanied children, aged 6 to 12, who reside in METAdrasi’s shelter in Athens, paid us a visit in our offices, the day after their precipitated return, due to the fires, from the summer camp of Agios Andreas, where they were accommodated by the City of Athens.

We were glad to see them safe and sound, in the mood to play, as always. The unaccompanied teenagers of METAdrasi’s apartment of Supported Independent Living who accompanied them, along with our team and in close cooperation with the other camp leaders, took care of them every single moment. We warmly thank them all, as well as the City of Athens’ services for the prompt and flawless organization of the summer camp’s evacuation.
