Former unaccompanied minors who have now become adults, made us proud of their success!

06.07.2021

Once again, the former unaccompanied minors who have now become adults, made us proud of their success!

It all started with Majid who, after winning the first place at the Panhellenic Muay-Thai Championship in 2020, repeated his feat in the 2021 Championship! Then followed the double triumph of Morteza and Yayhaa, who won the gold and silver medals respectively, in a 5 km race. And a week later, Morteza won another first place, this time in a 10 km race.

Of course, their success did not come by chance. The three of them, in addition to the talent they have, they train systematically and they have a lot of love for what they do. Our wish for the three of them – along with many other talented unaccompanied children in our country – is to make all their dreams come true and, why not, one day to win medals competing for Greece.

Well done Majid, Morteza and Yayhaa! Keep strong!

In METAdrasi, recognizing the need for boys like Majid, Morteza and Yayhaa to have a stable environment in order to complete their studies and to find jobs, we continue to provide accommodation in apartments that are funded by our own resources and we offer guidance that will help them make their first steps towards an independent, adult life.
