“Give blood, save life!”

16.04.2021

While the restrictive measures for the pandemic have resulted in a large reduction in blood units collected, METAdrasi carried out today a blood donation for the Children’s Hospital. So, our new space of the dormitory for homeless children was transformed into a unit for blood collection and the donation began.

Interpreters, Greeks, refugees and migrants, guardians, colleagues, volunteers, former unaccompanied minors, METAdrasi’s friends and of course the President of the Organization, they were all there proving that the offer to fellow humans is above and beyond gender, nationality, color, religion.

We warmly thank the people of the competent department of the Municipality of Athens and the Children’s Hospital “Aghia Sofia” for the excellent organization and cooperation.
