Metadrasi -

More than 2,850 unaccompanied children have been supported by METAdrasi’s Guardianship Officers, in the period from the beginning of 2024, until today. These are refugee children who are alone in our country, coming from more than 40 different countries, such as Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia.

The Guardianship Officers offer them valuable and personalized support, taking care of their best interests and ensuring their access to asylum and hospital care, to education and all the activities necessary for their psychosocial development.

As of 01/11/2023 the activity is implemented by METAdrasi as the coordinating partner and PRAKSIS as a supporting partner, under the “National Guardianship System” with funding from the “Programme Greece – Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund 2021-2027”, co-financed by the European Union.
