Following our mission in Chios in March, two new missions seek to meet the needs of refugees and migrants in the islands:
Last week, METAdrasi’s team took care of purchasing and shipping essentials such as clothing, shoes, household supplies, linen, etc. to Chios and Leros.
In Chios, these items were distributed to unaccompanied children by members of METAdrasi’s local team, while the distribution in Leros was undertaken by local authorities.
We are very grateful to the Embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands for supporting the missions, as well as all those involved in their preparation and implementation.
