Humanitarian aid missions in Orestiada, Samos, Chios and Lesvos

05.06.2020

Immediately after the lifting of the lockdown restrictions due to the pandemic and being deeply aware of the urgent needs of refugees located in the camps, METAdrasi organized four missions of humanitarian material.

We collected a total of 158 boxes of personal hygiene items, clothes and shoes that we sent in order to meet the needs of refugees located in Orestiada, Samos, Chios and Lesvos.

Once again, METAdrasi’s team, rolled up their sleeves, carried the boxes to the port of Piraeus and – from the other end – our local teams received the boxes and transferred them to the camps. And all this, while keeping all the necessary protection measures!

We would like to thank the companies Voyager Hellas and ATTICA GROUP, who continue to support us with the free transfer of humanitarian material, as well as the Greek Army in Samos that, for two years now, have been helping us transfer the material from the port to the camp.
