A very successful Job Fair took place a few days ago at the offices of METAdrasi in Thessaloniki in cooperation with UNHCR GREECE.
Beneficiaries from METAdrasi’s “Stepping Stone” Educational Integration Programme as well as representatives of various, local businesses embraced this initiative with great enthusiasm.
The event not only aimed to directly connect refugee adults with the local labour market, but also to host a significant number of interviews with remarkable perspectives for the beneficiaries of the Programme. The exchange of experiences among the beneficiaries themselves, as well as with their potential employers proved to be one of the most valuable aspects of the event, coupled with vital information provided by METAdrasi’s team regarding the labour framework in Greece and the demands of the Greek labour market.
We warmly thank Skywalker for organizing the parallel event on “Tips for creating a successful CV”, during which the participants were informed about the best practices of creating a CV, having the opportunity to create their own at that moment.
