Learning doesn’t stop for the refugee children living in METAdrasi’s Shelters

Even though the school year has ended, learning doesn’t stop for the refugee children living in METAdrasi’s Accommodation Centers for Unaccompanied Minors in Chios and Samos.

Every day, with the support of their teachers, they continue to attend Greek and foreign language classes. The goal is twofold: to maintain their connection with knowledge during the summer and to prepare as best as possible for the upcoming school year.

Through daily lessons, the children find rhythm, stability, and most importantly, hope. They learn the language of the country that hosts them, as well as foreign languages that will open paths for their future.

Behind every lesson lies an effort toward inclusion, empowerment, and a better tomorrow. Because education is the right of every child — and these children never stop dreaming.
