Urgent need for humanitarian aid in the refugee camps:
– blankets
– sleeping bags
– jackets
– winter shoes
– underwear
– socks
(You are kindly asked NOT to bring items other than the ones listed above)

As METAdrasi’s humanitarian aid missions continue, we renew our appeal for the items mentioned above.

Thank you all very much for the heartwarming participation so far! With the humanitarian material you have offered us, five missions have already been carried out since the beginning of Autumn, mainly in Chios and in Lesvos. However, the needs remain pressing and winter is approaching.

METAdrasi’s team members, activated in all entry points, in cooperation with the administrators of the Reception and Identification Centers, are constantly recording the shortages and continue to distribute humanitarian aid in the camps.

The collection of the items listed above takes place daily from Monday to Friday, 11:00-17:00, at METAdrasi’s premises in Tavros (metro station “Kallithea”), 7, 25 Martiou Street, 1st floor.

The transportation of the humanitarian material from the port of Piraeus to the islands is carried out by Blue Star Ferries and Hellenic Seaways, courtesy of Attica Group.
