ANNOUNCEMENT 11/10/23

METAdrasi Cyprus: For the first time, a Greek Non-Governmental Organization ventures beyond the country’s borders.

METAdrasi, an internationally recognized and award-winning Greek Humanitarian Organization, with 13 years of experience and expertise, and a track record of innovative activities at both national and European level, expands its presence beyond the country’s borders by establishing METAdrasi Cyprus.

The selection of Cyprus is closely linked to the substantial difficulties experienced by the neighboring country, with METAdrasi’s foremost focus being its commitment to making a difference in the fields of high-quality interpretation and support of unaccompanied children.

From our initial contacts in Cyprus, it became evident that there is a substantial need for assisting local authorities in addressing the challenges related to migration. We aspire, through our extensive experience and innovative approaches, to collaborate closely with all of Cyprus’s entities, international organizations, and particularly UNHCR, with whom we are already in contact, to make a significant impact,” states METAdrasi’s President, Lora Pappa.
