METAdrasi participated in the “Welcome 2024” Career Days with the Integration Programme “Stepping Stone,” welcoming refugees and migrants seeking employment in Greece.
On the first day, METAdrasi held a workshop for businesses on the importance of understanding, empowering, and including diversity in the workplace.
On the second day, more than thirty companies met with prospective employees and conducted recruitment interviews. METAdrasi’s job counsellors were present to welcome and guide the Stepping Stone beneficiaries, helping them distribute their CVs and providing practical interview tips.
Meanwhile, with the valuable support of volunteers, METAdrasi offered creative activities for children throughout the event; Our team of interpreters was also available, assisting when needed.
The action “Welcome 2024” Career Days was an initiative of the Working Group “Professional skills & Job market” of the Athens Coordination Center for Migrant and Refugee issues (ACCMR), the International Organization for Migration (IOM Greece) under HELIOS Project and the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, with the participation of organisations supporting integration.
