Unaccompanied minor Nabil found himself alone for three days in a forest area in Kozani, under conditions of extreme frost. He was located by a farmer and transferred directly to Kozani’s Hospital and from there to Papageorgiou General Hospital of Thessaloniki, with severe frostbites to his lower and upper extremities, that developed into gangrene, resulting in surgical amputation.
